Terms & Conditions of Service

These Terms & Conditions explain how I (Brian Borg, trading as PCBee) provide my computer repair and support services. By booking or receiving a service, you agree to the following:

2. Services I Provide
I help with computer repairs, upgrades, software issues, Wi-Fi and networking, custom PC builds, maintenance, and remote support. Services are offered in your home, office, online, or as otherwise agreed.
3. Prices & Estimates
- All prices are in Euro (€) and include VAT.
- I follow a clear price list for standard jobs. For custom work, I’ll provide a separate quote.
- If extra work or parts are needed, I’ll explain this before continuing.
4. Payments
- Payment is due in full once the job is complete, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- A deposit may be required before certain jobs.
- If parts or hardware are needed, these must be paid for in advance.
- I may withhold equipment or documentation until payment is received.
5. Your Consumer Rights
- If you book online, by phone, or by email, you have a 14-day cancellation right under EU law.
- This does not apply once you agree for me to start the service immediately.
- For physical goods (e.g. parts), normal statutory warranty rights apply.
6. Parts & Hardware
- Any replacement parts are new or equivalent to new, unless agreed otherwise.
- Manufacturer warranties (where provided) are passed on to you.
7. Data & Liability
- Please back up your data before I work on your computer.
- I am not responsible for data loss unless caused by my negligence.
- Services are provided on a best-effort basis. While I always try to fix issues, some faults cannot be repaired.
8. Service Warranty
- My labour is covered by a 30-day warranty on the specific repair carried out.
- This does not cover unrelated faults, new malware, accidental damage, or hardware failures.
9. Cancellations & Call-outs
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
- A call-out fee may apply for late cancellations, or if I attend but cannot carry out the work due to lack of access or information.
10. Remote Support
- Remote assistance requires a working internet connection.
- I am not responsible for issues caused by your ISP or third-party software during the session.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
I process your data in line with my Privacy Policy, which fully complies with GDPR.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Maltese law. Disputes will be handled by the Maltese courts, without prejudice to your rights.
13. Acceptance
By booking or receiving a service, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms.
